I’m a photographer based in Naarm (Melbourne), and my career has always followed an unpredictable path. After leaving the Navy in 1988, I stumbled into the beat press, where I cut my teeth capturing raw, unvarnished stories. Since then, I’ve worked across film, magazines, advertising, and corporate projects, always driven by a fascination with the human element in every frame.
My work has been recognised along the way, including the prestigious Gary Award, which I’m particularly proud of. I also hold a BA in Photography from RMIT, but the real lessons have come from the unpredictable moments I’ve lived and documented. For me, photography is about finding truth in the chaos—capturing the beauty, mess, and contradictions that make us human.
... it's in this vain that this site finds itself - a mess and contradictions.Enjoy.
